The Rundown: The siblings are given a chance to leave the church to explore the town while one of them learns something about and from their dead father.

Romy finds herself in the library of the church learning more about the dark deeds her father performed when she is interrupted by her siblings. They decide to meet with the church priestess who wants to assure them that they are not prisoners by offering to take them into town. Romy stays behind to continue researching her father’s exploits as the rest of her siblings find themselves in town dealing with the locals.
As things continue to become tense, Romy learns that her father was not without his own plans for his children. Plans that could give them an edge in dealing with the demonic forces that not only want their souls, but also their powers.
The Story: Bunn expands and evolves the mystery and circumstances in this issue in new and intriguing ways. I continue to enjoy the characters in this story a lot. I love the dark tone of the series and how the issue creates some new and intriguing mysteries within it. There is a great reveal in this issue that got my attention as a reader because of how well it is woven into the story.
The Art: Bacardo creates some great art throughout the issue. I love the visual style and how it perfectly matches the tone and mood of the story and series.
